Abstract

This article provides a theoretical and legal analysis of the interconnectedness of the principles of
justice and social justice, as well as their substantive differences. In the study, the principle of justice is revealed as
a general legal, comprehensive and universal concept, and the principle of social justice is evaluated as a special
criterion that serves the activities of the social state and social institutions. The author compares the essence,
object, and scope of these principles and theoretically substantiates their speciic characteristics. The article irst
highlights the distributive, corrective, procedural, and educational aspects of the concept of justice, actively utilizing
the scientiic views of foreign scholars and court presidents. At the next stage, it is scientiically substantiated
that social justice is not merely a synonym for the concept of justice, but a phenomenon that ensures stability in
society and manifests at the level of state policy. At the same time, a number of scientiic and practical conclusions
were drawn during the study of the raised topic. In particular, although the principles of justice and social justice
are interconnected and complement each other, they are different concepts in terms of content. While justice is a
general legal principle aimed at creating an environment of legality, objectivity, and equality, social justice is a
special form of justice that balances relations between the state and society and ensures social stability between
individuals.
