Abstract

At the present stage of development, the management and regulation of migration processes is one of the important directions of state policy. This article examines such important aspects of migration policy as the development of legislative norms and mechanisms that allow managing and controlling migration flows, monitoring the legality of the activities of migrants entering the country, as well as protecting national interests, and ensuring security. Within the framework of this policy, it is planned to organize constant monitoring, identify illegal migrants, and create the necessary conditions for the adaptation of migrants to the new society and working conditions. In addition, in recent years, the increasing activity of migration flows in the USA under the influence of various factors, increasing threats to national security, as well as the need to protect the rights and obligations of participants in this process have been studied. Also, the theoretical foundations and classification of the concept of migration, the institutional foundations of the study of migration processes are defined, and the interrelationship of the categories of migration and security is theoretically and conceptually analyzed. The results of this study and the analysis of the situation can be used in the development of proposals and recommendations for its practical application.
