This article is devoted to the analysis of the role of New Uzbekistan in modern international relations and the international legal initiatives it is promoting on a global and regional scale. The study examines the dyna-mics of our country’s transformation from a simple consumer of international legal norms to an active norm-maker. In order to comprehensively study this process, a systematic approach, classification, comparative analysis, and historical progressiveness methods were used. The content and legal basis of 2 international conventions being de-veloped at the initiative of Uzbekistan and more than 10 special resolutions unanimously adopted by the UN General Assembly were scientifically assessed. As a result of the research, the coherence between Uzbekistan’s international legal initiatives and national strategies and their role in the fight against security, climate change, tourism, and drug addiction were determined. As a final conclusion, it is scientifically substantiated that the global ideas promo-ted by our country serve to strengthen the international legal order, ensure regional stability, and radically increase Uzbekistan’s influence in the world community.
