Abstract

The article theoretically and practically covers the issues of the spread of harmful information in society and the transformation of communication on social networks into a form of violence. The increase in cases of violence, humiliation, and cyberbullying on social networks, as well as ways to prevent them, were also studied. One of the pressing problems of today is the protection of children from harmful information and ensuring information security. The activities of state bodies in this area and the practical measures they are implementing are analyzed. Issues of protecting young people from the influence of harmful information and reducing the risk of violence on social networks were also considered. The article analyzes the types of harmful information and its negative impact on the human psyche. The classification of harmful information by age categories is given. Also, in order to protect children, relevant laws and regulatory legal acts developed by the state were analyzed, and their significance was indicated. The article provides effective methods for preventing these problems and recommendations for their improvement. Based on the research results, practical recommendations for the formation of a healthy information environment in society have been put forward.
