LEGAL REGULATION OF NON-GOVERNMENTAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS: THEORETICAL AND LEGAL ASPECTS AND MODELS

Abstract

The article provides an in-depth analysis of the theoretical foundations, practical mechanisms, and existing models of legal regulation of the activities of non-governmental non-profit organizations. The role of non-governmental non-profit organizations in the formation of a democratic society, their importance in ensuring social stability, expressing and protecting the interests of various segments of the population, and their role in the realization of human rights and freedoms are highlighted. The research examines the legal, organizational, economic and institutional conditions necessary for the effective functioning of non-governmental non-profit organizations, mechanisms for interaction with the state, and tools for ensuring public participation. Special attention is paid to international experience, and the advantages and weaknesses of the models of legal regulation used in countries such as the USA, Germany, South Korea, Russia, Great Britain, and France – liberal, mixed and paternalistic approaches – are revealed on the basis of comparative legal analysis.
